Great show guys… All the actors are just Super be it steller primary cast of Neena Gupta, raghubir Yadav or our own jitu. Supported by Chandan Roy or our adorable up-Pradhan. Every character is well sketched and has a life of his own. Abhishek is a engineering graduate aspiring to crack CAT & get a well paid job but is forced to accept the post of sachiv of Pradhan only to find that it is the hubby whom he has to serve. Pradhan of the village Manjuji is happy dominating her husband who is a very docile fellow. But when actual problem comes in the end she is shown to take the lead and save everyone. Very rustic treatment of the plot and every episode ends on a positive and hopeful note. Some episodes are absolutely hilarious. Introduction of Rinki at the end and that too on the tanki leaves us on the hope of a even more exciting second season. Supporting cast too shows great promise. In all a great family show without any unnecessary cuss words or flesh show.
5stars. Undoubtedly one of the finest web series ever. Full of soul and heart. Leaves a positive impact on you and every single character becomes attached to you for long. Every actor has done a great job, but it’s Vikas the Sahayak, played by Chandan Roy, who stands out along with Raghubir Yadav. A full family entertainer which also showcases how a great entertainment can be made without forced vulgar scenes and dialogues. Our websites these days r becoming better than our movies.
Panchayat shows a journey of an engineering graduate, who for lack of a better job option joins as a secretary of a panchayat office in the remote village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh, India. So the series shows how he deals with all the village problems, also how he want a much better job than this and tries to works towards it. So this series is something different from the mainstream series movies and series which are being released nowadays. The delay in watching the series was due because when i saw the trailer i was not interested in watching this series but one of my friends suggested and it was worth it. This was one of the most beautifully written series. Each episode shows different problems he has to face with the people in the village. Abhishek Tripathi who is already not interested in this job still tries to find solutions or work through these problems for his own benefits in some cases though. But the series shows that how for a person doesn’t need money for making friends or special connection with the people he is living or working with. Jitendra Kumar as a secretary was wonderful, after his amazing work in the movie #shubhmangaljyadasavdhaan he was again stunning. The ease with which he played the character was astonishing. Raghubir Yadav and Neena Gupta they were the highlight of the show, the amazing screenplay by these two actors was just perfect. The supporting cast were equally amazing. The screenplay and the direction of the series was perfectly done. Overall a great show to binge watch. Kudos to TVF for such a wonderful show
This series gives a fresh outlook in the lives of rural setting of India. I literally binge watched it. I myself have worked in rural areas and can relate to many seemingly small but orthodox practices of rural setting.
The acting of all the cast involved, subtle humor makes it a must watch.
There are two moments in the series that filled my eyes with tears. The one where the Abhisekh pours out his frustration as he has no friends, family and hate being in village and the village team shows up with beers on Saturday night to get drunk. And when the Manjnu Devi (who is actually Pradhan herself) talks with confidence to DM (Jilla Magistrate) and sings the national song.
